Miller & Chevalier is seeking a Legal Recruiting Coordinator for its Washington, DC office. This position will report to the Director of Attorney Recruiting and Professional Development and the Hiring Committee and will administer all aspects of entry-level and lateral attorney hiring.
- Correspond with candidates, search firms, law students, and career services professionals
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews and maintain applicant files
- Coordinate and administer fall on-campus interview program
- Coordinate and administer the summer associate program (orientation, work assignments, evaluations, and event planning)
- Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
- Work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Must be available to work overtime and attend evening events as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+plus years of professional experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of viDesktop preferred
- Must be highly motivated with excellent judgment
- Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
This position is non-exempt.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Miller & Chevalier has a hybrid work schedule that calls for nine days per month in the office, excluding during the summer program. Miller & Chevalier is an equal-opportunity employer. All inquiries will be held in strict confidence.
